Of all the forces in the GAR only one has more black ink than anywhere else. Chancellor Palpatine's hand picked soldiers. Phantom Squadron. Rarely is the squad seen with its Jedi general due to their high success rate even if the full squad is separated which is often the case. Though the squad itself is rarely known by the Republic it's true purpose is even more well hidden, even from its Jedi general. Even the commander of the squad itself hides something from the squad and the chancellor himself. These soldiers do the Republics dirty work to keep as much peace in the galaxy as possible, even if it's against some of their morals.
