Kira is her Father's unwilling sidekick, raised to be the perfect assassin, trained to see people as targets and threats. Her whole life is upended when she runs into the Avengers, now she is forced to keep her two worlds separated and unaware of eachother.

A field trip. To Stark Industries. The one zone Kira was banned from and Kira was smart enough to know that even a carefully thought out plan wouldn't be enough to keep her alive. Either the Avengers would kill her or her father would and she wasn't interested in dying young. At least not too young. But while she's busy digging her grave she'll add a vigilante persona to mix, if only to make things a little less numb.

Steve didn't really know what to think about the reserved girl, if anything. She wasn't exactly normal, but nothing seemed too off. Maybe it was Clint that first noticed the warning sign, maybe that's why he invited her back.
