Sarah has just turned 13 and what she got for her birthday wasn't what she wanted. Her mother died that day while coming home. She was in a car accident and passed away in the hospital. Stuck with a misunderstanding, greifing father and fading friends, Sarah runs away. In a little forested area near a highway she's attacked bye a creature. A werewolf. Just when she was about to welcome death she feels something well up inside of her. New strengh.
As Sarah is discovering new things about her new life she stumbles across a pack. Being the age she was they took her in. Not only was it for her age but they took her in because they noticed the pain and stars of hope in her eyes. She finds love as she turns 18. But she discovers that stars can fall and hope can fade.
