The Sun is the brightest star in the galaxy. It's sometimes used to symbolize happiness and fun times. Sodapop Curtis was like the sun- happy go lucky and carefree. But behind the mask was a very unhappy boy with a secret. Sodapop is gay and it's tearing him apart. He is the darkest sun.
