The Author's Words Summary: What happened that spring break Juliette and Elinor bonded, and why did Elinor choose then to decided to care about her little sister? Notes: Ok I think I figured it out, their age difference is about seven years cause Elinor is out of college and working for her dad by the time Juliettes a junior in high school, so at the very minimum Juliette is seven years younger than the twins. But Juliette is already 16 seemingly closer to the front half of her junior year so in our story she's like 12 and Elinor is about 19. Also, Oliver leaves after his first kill, so older than 16, but in that flash back they def weren't in college yet, so I think when Elinor finally got rid of Oliver, she decided to focus in on grooming Juliette cause she didn't have Oliver to manipulate anymore, so I'm guessing it was like just before the school year started, so I wanted to uploaded this and give all credits to the original author Imveryverygay

Lauren Jules, her twin sister Miranda, and their best friend Jake all grew up together in their own little world. Just three kids having the time of their lives. And then came the summer that changed everything. It was the summer Lauren fell in love with her best friend. It was the summer her family broke apart and she grew up. It was the summer Jake left. Now five years later, Jake is moving back and Lauren is determined to keep her guard up against the boy who stole her heart years ago. But Lauren's not the only one with something to hide, Jake seems to be fighting some demons of his own. His past has changed him from the happy-go-lucky kid he was, to a reckless guy with a smirk for a smile. And he's driving Lauren insane. ****** Excerpt from That Summer "Well I'm surprised," he drawled huskily, playing with a strand of my hair. "You acted like a natural last night." Oh. My. God. What did that even mean? He chuckled at my deer-in-headlights expression. There was no way I would not remember losing my virginity to Jake. Hell, I'd memorize every second of it. "What do you mean?" I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.
