The year is 2202, and the world has been left unrecognisable by war, revolution and the discovery of a subspecies of humans known as Demons who are born with superhuman abilities. Godwin City, the new capital of England, is ruled by the totalitarian World Government led by the Hexcom corporation and is kept under the surveillance of the all-seeing ONIICHAN system.

While most of Godwin's citizens quietly suffer, a select few Demons and their human allies who dream of freedom secretly rebel against the system from within. One such individual, Lucien Faraday, Demonlord of Godwin City, finds himself fighting a battle on two fronts, both against a Demon uprising that endangers the lives of his citizens and against the very system he helped to create.
