Reese Parker is not afraid to die. That's what she thinks. It's not until she is staring into the eyes of her soulmate, black spots beginning to splotch her vision, chest on fire, far too many dark petals trying to come up her esophagus at once, that she's terrified. It's far too overwhelming. Tears sting her eyes, and she looks desperately at her soulmate who looks just as desperate right back, her world beginning to teeter. Her throats closes up, and she can't breathe anymore. Reese thinks she's never been more scared in her life. Reese doesn't want to die. --- "You made flowers grow in my lungs. There are only two ways to cure the disease; it is if the person they love returns the feelings or it can be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the flowers. If neither of the options is chosen or made, the victim's lungs will fill up with flowers and eventually suffocate them. Killing them.Complete

They cough up blood and petals until they find new love or get surgery. Some even let the petals worsen. The longer you have Hanahaki, the worse the petals are. If you get the surgery, it removes all emotions so you would feel nothing. Eijiro is head over heels in love with Katsuki but Katsuki doesn't return his feelings. Eijiro develops a disease called Hanahaki (see above) and this story is about his recovery and what recovery he will choose. Will he try to find new love? Or will he give up his emotions to no longer feel the pain?Complete

Surgery, where you lose all memory of your feelings and the person you love, or confessing to them and they feel the same. Shinobu had it for weeks. She went to her own appointments, and did her own thing. She never once spoke about what happened. this is modern au. Shinobu is in college with Giyuu and her sister, Kanao and Aoi are in high school.
