After a tragic break-up leaves Alice's life in pieces, her family encourages her to get back out there. To her surprise, she meets Darren, a successful, attractive nice guy that is everything Alice has ever wanted. The only problem is that there is nothing between them, not even the slightest spark. Unfortunately for her, Darren's best friend Jon (who always seems to be around) is the complete opposite of Darren. Jon is rude, egotistical, and unbelievably sexy. Alice can't help the growing attraction she feels toward Jon, and she doesn't know if he is the safest choice.
