One hundred years ago, there was a princess, and two knights. When calamity struck, and the knights fell, the princess sealed herself away with the calamity until her knights returned to her aid. After defeating the calamity, the knights and the princess believe they will have a peaceful life together.
That is, of course, until past reincarnations of the hero's spirit show up, asking to drag Link on an adventure. He agrees, as long as his long time best friend and fellow knight G (short for Ganon) can come along.
They don't take too kindly to the hero's dear friend to say the least.

Botw Reimagined
This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

The once great kingdom of Hyrule was destroyed by the calamity. But before all it's people could be slaughtered the princess awakened her sacred powers, powers to turn back evil. Unfortunately it was not soon enough for her loyal and caring guardian knight, however his time had not come. Alone the princess contained the calamity to the castle buying her knight, the hero chosen by the goddess Hylia, time to recover from his mortal wounds. For a hundred years the land of Hyrule was threatened by the great calamity, every year the princess seal weakened ever so slightly. After his awakening the former knight turned hero rushed from one end of Hyrule to the next making allies and defeating the calamity and it's servants.
