A Radish Odyssey (MAMAMOO AU)

(Synopsis)

Endless nightmares of the world coming to an end has never failed to visit a monk in his dreams, until the alignment of the Sun and the Moon, birthed a mysterious baby girl who appeared out of nowhere. She is believed to fulfil a prophecy and to end the world's sufferings, or so-called 'God's final shred of mercy on humanity'.

Despite growing up in a temple, sergeant Kim Yong Sun believed that all supernatural and superstition is nothing more than a kid believing that Santa Claus exist. That is, until she is assigned a case to find lost treasures of the sky, where she encountered several uncanny occurrence, beyond all logic and science.

Can she solve the mystery of its disappearance and locate all of them? Or will she change her perspective on the existence of supernatural beings and seek their assistance? Will they be... friends... or foe?

(This story is an adaptation of the original works Journey to the West, in a modern setting. The concept of 'A Radish Odyssey' may have some references and basis from the origin, but most of the time, it's tweaked and twisted to a plot of my own original works. As a Buddhist-Taoist myself, I aspire to tell the tales of my religion. I have absolutely zero intention to slander or tarnish it, so if my fellow Buddhist / Taoist readers find this story offensive, I'm sorry, but this is not what it is.)
