After the fight between Mk and DBK, they separated and stayed as enemies, but never to encounter again. It was months later, several rough training sessions with an off Monkey King, when Mk found an injured Red Son. He helped him, and felt a bond growing between them, but the fued he's had with the Demon King did not help them. Nothing will block their growing friendshipt. Or, will something block it? Let's just say a LOT will.

When Red Son's mother, Princess Iron Fan, humiliates him in front of the entire Monkie Gang, he decides he's had enough and goes ballistic on her. Once he's realised what he's done, it's too late. The damage has been done. Red Son's parents kick him out of their home, leaving him to fend for himself with only the few things he can fit into his small backpack. However, all hope might not be lost, considering the fact that a certain Noodle Boy will not leave him alone until Red Son lets MK help him. - This is my first fan fiction so I'm sorry in advance if it's cringy. Also, I will try my best with grammar and spelling so please bear with me. - The perspective of the chapters will swap between MK and Red Son throughout the story, but they won't have a constant order. Red Sakura Tree Au: Lego Monkie Kid A long time ago there was a red Sakura tree planted on Flower Fruit Mountain said to hold the love story of a king and a warrior. The two loves planted this tree in hope it would stay as strong as their love for each other, but with one left leaving the other wondering if they weren't good enough for the other. Over time the red Sakura tree started to wither away bringing a sickness to the mountain. Soon the king chose a successor, but what he didn't know is that a young she-monkey demon was taking care of it. She visited the mountain once and while, but the king wasn't really close; they had only known each other for two to five years at this point, but she had this aura around her that sent a chill down his spine. The sickness started to pass faster than ever after a fight with the old lovers. Though she tried her best she-monkey demon couldn't keep it under control and soon the whole island had started to wither away and worse it was spreading to the cities. Now she must find a cure to this sickness before it's too late what friends she will make along the way and what her future holds.
