One Direction is looking for a new member so they decide to ask Simon if they can hold auditions. He says yes thinking that maybe the band needs a change.

Annie has got it pretty rough at home and her best friend Katie is her great escape. Katie is also the person who convinces her to go to this audition. Annie was bullied back in school and now finds it hard to be confident about the so called "amazing" voice she has which is why she is hesitant to try out for this spot.
