Lady Marissa Natasha Roman, or Mara to those who knew her, wanted to explore the world before settling down with a husband on her parent's wishes. When she departed for Paris, she was waved off with gusto from her loved ones.

However, six month's later, she was delivered back to her family's country estate, scarred, broken and in mourning. No one knew what happened, except for Mara.
