Becoming the demon lords.

In the world there's two classes of people the people of the light and the people of the dark also known as demons. On a child's 16th birthday they are assessed by a magical device that tells them where they are to be from that point on it also tells them the future.

Alexander just turned 16 and his family all tell him that he is going to be just like them a family of the light. He is the youngest of 3 his older sister is part of the government of light while his brother is a guard to the royal family. (Alexander's family are royal guards and diplomats) when he went to the placement centre there were more people then he thought there would be but the placement only happens once a year.

The children all take turns getting there placement in front of everyone in the town some light some dark separated because light and dark always fighting. When Alexander goes for his placement his family all sit forward excited to get another guard in there ranks.

"Demon lords mate, grand master of magic" the familiar that does the placement says, Alexander looks worried and turns back to his family who are rushing down to him but before they get there he is swallowed in black flames. He appears in front of a giant castle greeted by a woman with long ears and black hair.

"Name?" She asked without looking up from her notebook "Alexander" he says after a minute, suddenly she drops to the ground and welcomes him to the thornius school for demons.
