Fourth book in CountryCore Series.

Single mother Brittany Britt Donaghue has but one respite in her life of surprising misfortune for which she fears there is no cure. Yet, there is a sunny horizon in her future she realizes holds the key to ultimate joy. After receiving a call from her uncle's lawyer, she finds out he has finally passed after a long struggle with cancer. She is soon informed of her inheritance left by him with several attached clauses, the primary being that in order to obtain her inheritance, she must live on his ranch for an entire year. She accepts with hope in her heart, the beckoning warmth of her childhood memories on the land carrying her forward, and the desire to give her son the life she'd always hoped.

Tierra Tee Kavanagh hasn't formed a true connection to anyone in the last ten years after she made the worst mistake of her life and now it appears the very person she hurt is returning. She buries herself in alcohol, hardly remembering one day to the next, and would have it no other way. That is, until her lost love finally arrives and works to shatter the walls she's so carefully constructed.
