[ON-GOING][ON INDEFINITE HOLD]
They were best friends throughout their childhood. They fell apart when she moved away with her boyfriend and got married and established a family. He became a famous actor with no family. Ten years later they meet again at their high school reunion. Will they be able to rebuild what they have? Or has the time apart made them even further apart?

*
Honey Adams. She was the leader of the high school cheerleaders. With her brown eyes and brown hair that was always slicked back into a ponytail, she could look so mean. Truth is that she was probably going to be the nicest person you would ever meet. But since she was dating Ethan, the school's quarterback and captain of the football team, people just assumed things about her. Things that never were true.

Chris Evans. Chris was, well, he was just Chris. Until fame was thrown in his face. In high school he was known as the nerd. He didn't have many friends. Not that he cared. The only girl he cared about was Honey. His best friend. Until high school. They had drifted apart. He had always wanted to reach out to her after he got famous. But he didn't think she wanted to have anything to do with him now that he was famous. She was, after all, happily married to Ethan Davis.

Will they be able to rebuild the sparks that once were between them? Or maybe the sparks never left?

Stealing paintings was her signature style of a message to her competitors, or was it a hobby? Y/N was starting over and wasn't getting any younger. She definitely had baggage and wanted to try something where nobody knew her, moving to Boston, and beginning her second act. New friends are made and she is plunged into a life she never could imagined living. PLEASE LIKE AND LEAVE FEEDBACK. This is my first attempt at writing something so big and would appreciate it. 18 + due to adult content ⚠️ : *There will be some language, well because if you have seen interviews and things with some of these people, it is part of how they talk. *There will eventually be some mature content. *I love Disney WORLD and Universal and enjoy reading stories with Chris at Disney World so I am looking forward to writing those chapters at some point. *I, unfortunately, have never met Chris or any of the actors depicted. I do not know the Evans family personally, so anything in this story is strictly written just for fun. *Nothing is intended to make anyone look bad or to harm anyone's feelings. References and descriptions or how one of the characters may act is based on perceptions from interviews, possibly movies, or their social media. Some are even made up strictly for storyline purposes. I don't know them so have no idea what they are like or not like. *references to fans who are overstepping or displaying stalker tendencies are not based on anyone particular, just from things said in interviews or blogs or social media. I am a fan myself, so we all know there are a handful of fans out of millions who do go too far sometimes with the actor/actress that they become infatuated with. *Any pictures and gifs and videos used are credited to the owner. *It is all based on my perception but I have tried to stay clear of politics or topics in the news that are sensitive and stay neutral on things. *In other words, this is a fan FICTION story meant for fans to read to escape reality for a bit.

Iris and Chris had been best friends for a long time. Now he was coming home after wrapping up a movie in Brazil. Things were different this time around. There was so much unspoken between the two of them, things neither of them dared to bring to light. As new problems were in the wind, old ones were stepping out of the shadows to haunt them. Iris wasn't typically like this around him. Why couldn't she keep herself together? It had to be because of how long it had been since she'd been with anyone. That had to be it. It couldn't be anything else. Could there? Chris was her best friend. That was all he'd ever been and all he'd ever be to her. She wouldn't dare to cross that line. Not even when their vibes seemed to change and it felt as if the very air around her transformed in his presence. She was floating and the current was drifting her to him. Would she make it to shore or would she be swept under? Chris had been pushing away his feelings for a long time now, distancing himself from her. The literal distance between them had done him good as well. Yet everything came cracking down once she leapt into his arms. Iris was undoubtedly one of the most important people in his life. His friendship with her was extraordinary. He wouldn't risk that for anything in the world. He would just ruin everything. Destroy their friendship. He would destroy her. He could never do that to her. Not after everything he'd put her through. Not after everything she'd been through. But how was he going to keep away, when she was a magnet pulling him close? Could he withstand such forces? TW and warnings: Drug abuse Alcohol Explicit language Mentioning of child neglect Smut Scenes of sexual nature Mature content, read at own risk. !I do not own the people in this story, except the ones I have made up. This is just fiction and not a correct portrayal of the people that exists in real life, nor has any of the fictional story lines really happened!
