Flawed

We're all flawed. It's in our nature. I wish it wasn't the case but it is and we can all agree on it even if some decide not to do it aloud.

For Ethan, it was his indiscretion, his dishonesty, For my mom, it was alcohol, for my dad, the lack of responsibility but for me...for me, it was Jack. Jack was my flaw just as I was his. We were good with that. Until I discovered that Jackson, 𝑚𝑦 Jackson, was flawed in so many ways impossible to me.

« My blood boils and I don't waste a seconds walking faster to Ethan when I suddenly bump into a chest.

I look up, finding Jackson looking down at me. "That's your cheating little boyfriend back there, am I right?" he speaks. After a moment of silence, I cross my arms. He swiftly glances at my chest before looking back to my face. "Hop in the pool." he says.

I uncross my arms, "What? Jack- what do you mean?" I answer, confused and on the verge of tears.

"What? Don't tell me your plan is to yell at him and embarrass yourself? No," he takes his shirt off and I dare check him out, "you have to ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒 him, Maya." he brings me back to the present.
