When the witches kidnapped Hayley and forced her into labour they hadn't expected her to have twins. They felt like celebrating as the greed invaded their minds due to the power they would hold with two tribrids, however the plans they had came crumbling down when Klaus, Hayley and Elijah destroyed the ritual.
As Marcel came to grab the babies, Genevieve in a fit of vindictive anger cast three spells on one of the twins, to lock away their tribrid nature, to teleport the baby far away from New Orleans and last but not least...
