Things have been going pretty well with his family so far. He has a place he can call home, brothers who will answer his every call regardless of the situation, and a supportive father that doesn't look at him with the guilt and remorse he still feels for him.

On a cold winter night in Gotham, after a long night of crime-fighting and patrolling, Jason reflects on his life so far. How he went from starving out on the lone streets of Gotham to fighting as a vigilante alongside Batman, his mentor-- and daresay, "father". 

And when he realises he is bleeding out rapidly beyond belief, does he then call his so-called 'family' for help?

Bruce has been 'dead' for about three weeks now, and Gotham is getting restless. Dick knows that it's time for him to become Batman, even if it means he has to find the body of his mentor to confirm this. Damien Wayne was thrust to his care by Thalia, just out of the blue. He was already overwhelmed with everything, so he didn't know how to handle his new brother. However, that didn't mean he was an ass to him. After some time, Gotham gets worse. The bat fam needs more help, but they don't want to call in for it. They find two new girls fighting in the streets, and Dick thinks his prayers have been answered.

Nobody asked him if he wanted to be left in charge, nobody asked him if he was alright during the invasion, nobody seemed to remember that he was only eighteen, nobody seemed to realize that he had to become Batman and protect Gotham along with Bludhaven , and nobody seemed to care about what their words did to him. Everyone knows that stress can hurt you, that you should try to get unstressed when you are stressed. However, some people can't, and so, what happens to them? Warning: language is used, and has some depressing thoughts. Read at your own risk.

If Walls Could Talk // JAYTIM (HOPELESS FOOLS #1) by ashxtodd

Tim doesn't plan on talking with Jason when he goes to crime alley, because why on Earth would Red Hood be there, right? ("Stupid fucker" Tim thinks looking back) That was mistake number one. Mistake number two is actually pouring out his emotions to Jason about his family (Like how much he hates Bruce). His third mistake was not turning off his tracker which led to a very awkward confrontation the next day at work. The first mistake started the whole situation and fucked up his life in a bad and good way (he guesses it had something to do with how sad and lonely he was before Jason came in like a wrecking ball). Realistically he knows that he could've handled the whole situation better, but what's the fun in that? It's way more interesting to become friends with the guy you replaced, used to have a crush on and stalked BETRAYING Bruce. To add to that he gets so high that he forgets his feelings until forever. Procrastination at its finest. The best part (but Tim's least favorite part) is that everyone knew about his feelings that he himself didn't know, but they were completely oblivious to how much he was hurting, except Jason. Funny how life works, huh?
