There are always two things in a story: a protagonist and an antagonist. Villains, and Heroes.
For centuries society and storytellings have reinforced the assumption that there is such a thing as Good and Evil. Both are just myths. Social constructs. In this crooked world, there is only such a thing as perspective. In the eyes of the Villain, they are simply doing what they think is right. The same goes for the Heroes.
Many people see heroes and villains in black and white, but there was never a distinction between them in the first place.
