In the ever-changing Sternbild City, names and faces were forgotten as easily as the trends of the week. The heroes who saved the city, broadcasted daily on Hero TV, had more longevity than most.

However, eight years was a long time to be out of the spotlight. Airi Windsor, who had retired early in order to raise her daughter, knew that better than anyone. She was older now and past her prime, but her desire to help those in need hadn't wavered even after years of isolating herself from the very business that she had trained her entire life to be apart of.

The person she feared reuniting with the most was none other than Wild Tiger himself, Kotetsu Kaburagi.

In her original run, Airi and Kotetsu had been friends. Close, even. They bonded over their families, over their spouses and their daughters.

But when Airi left, she left without a word to Kotetsu. Not a single word.

When reunited, the two quickly realize that they're not the same people they once were; tragedy and heartache has the tendency to do that to a person. They've grieved and they've grown.

And in the ever-changing landscape of new, younger heroes, they can both use an old friend in their corner.
