The Underground Community of Battle Heroines

When 45-year-old mother and wife Valda Gray decides to escape from the grips of her abusive husband of over twenty years, she soon finds herself in an underground community of other women who have also run away from their former lives as wives to abusive husbands. These inspiring, strong women openly take Valda into their arms, and teach her the ways of the woods. Through strength and community, these women learn how to survive on their own in the unknown wilderness with nothing but the clothes that they came with. Now that they have escaped from their old lives, they see that there is no return and all they have is each other. However, the sense of community sparks a new realization for Valda...
