Between Yours and Mine

Between what's hers and his seemed incompatible.

Aleiah doesn't give a damn about anything except her family and building her career. Living a life where failure is an unwanted guest, she does her best in med school and barely gives a try to open her heart. But, just like her energy, she doesn't need to chase; she attracts.

Maybe it's the way Jaxen sticks sticky notes on her cup of coffee, or the taste of the food he cooks for her, or the way his cheekbones appear everytime he softly smiles, or the wonderful mood she gets whenever she's with him that makes her feel like everything will be fine. The attraction they have created was strong.

Until it was supposed to be weak at some point.

But, as they say, you come back stronger; together against the world.
