Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven. Theodore Alan Grady was born under the two legends who run the sanctuary. Growing up from birth in the presence of dinosaurs, seeing an Apatosaurus sun bathing is nothing to look twice at for the teenager. Living on an island where every animal there is considered a miracle, Theo is trying to find his own calling. But with such incredibly influential names in his family, how could he ever amount to that level of greatness? With the darkest hour approaching, will he rise to the occasion of being a hero ? Jurassic World: The Edge of Chaos
After twelve years of existence, the theme park Jurassic World on Isla Nublar is thriving and a major family destination as it houses dinosaurs and other prehistoric species brought back from extinction thanks to breakthroughs in genetics made three decades earlier. But this is not enough to satisfy the ambitions of the park's management who announce the upcoming exhibition of the Indominus rex, a genetically designed dinosaur hybrid whose behaviour raise more and more concerns while the phantom of the Jurassic Park's and San Diego's incidents linger. When the Indominus escape, the park's staff and the troops of the Grey Guard are thrown in a race against clock to prevent the park from falling into chaos and this while ominous signs herald the imminence of another kind of danger. Author's note: This story takes place in the same universe as the original trilogy but offers a longer and darker take on the story of the 2015 film Jurassic World. It's actually divided into two parts, this one named The Edge of Chaos and a second one, named The Fallen Kingdom. DISCLAIMER: I don't own the Jurassic Park franchise.
