Scream: Lovesick

Ayano Yudasei is a fairly average, shy Japanese high school girl. Average grades, a small group of friends, a boy she's crushing on, a small presence on social media, and a film series she's obsessed over. However, she has a secret, one that nobody besides her single father knows, and she's pretty determined to keep it that way. However, when two of her classmates end up murdered in a manner reminiscent of her favorite film franchise, she finds herself being the target of harassment and suspicion when evidence crops up that points to her being responsible, as well as her secret bubbling to the surface. Now, in order to stay alive, she must learn which of her friends and acquaintances she can trust, maintain her composure as the attacks and killings escalate, and push herself more and more to be like the woman she idolizes, especially when that lady herself ends up in the fray.
