Fresh out of the FBI academy, Doctor Rowan Hollis' first assignment is to be with the Behavioral Analysis Unit at Quantico. This assignment would not have been her first choice had it not been for the possibility that this could enhance her research for her second dissertation for her Doctorate in Criminology.
Section Chief Erin Strauss, however, sought her out for a very different reason: a way to show that Aaron Hotchner is an incompetent leader, using Doctor Hollis as an unknowing pawn because of a very particular and unexpected connection between her and Agent Hotchner.
