I will not bother with formalities or lies. I will not feed you small bits of truth or amplify the intensity of my book with honeyed words. We, you and I, are about to enter a tale full of hardships and death and other such nasty things that which many will find unbearable. You will watch me, with that feeble mind of yours, conquer the world and struggle with a boy, an unbearable child, who I would have been much better off without. This story is the only truth that you will find in this crumbling world, be thankful that I am indebted to tell it to you.
