Lenart Adliger, an adopted farmer's boy, knows that the blood running in him is more than that of a farmer's. His love for both his people's lore and his bow and arrows gives him proof of the warrior inside him. Little does he know that the blood running in him will be tested as a foreign race, the Frosts, known only in legends would attack his village mercilessly. He is shoved into the fray unprepared. Only his wits and instincts save him and those around him because the Frosts come in overwhelming numbers accompanied by their pet beasts, dire wolves, who share the terrifying qualities of their masters. The Frosts come like an overwhelming flood and the survivors of his village had one thing to do: flee. And so, they battle against these fearsome enemies and against time as they search for a place where they could once again be safe.All Rights Reserved
