The Poet Persona takes the reader on a journey through his thoughts and thought processes as he, alongside the reader, uncovers what the world of romance has for him. Unsurprising for a novice, it turns out to be sweet and sour, and largely woeful as the title suggests. This anthology is not the usual anthology as it is more of an exposition into thoughts across different points in the plot of the storyline as opposed to a full-on narration of events that most anthologies end up being.
