After their parent's divorce, Valerie and her twin brother, Steven, had to decide which parent to stay with. Valerie had no choice but to pick her mother, leaving Steven to stay with his father in California. When Valerie goes to stay with Steven and her father for the summer, it ends with love, loss, and tragedy.
