The day is January 2, 1935. At approximately 1:20 p.m., a man checked into room 1046 in a hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. This man's name was Roland T. Owen, a 28 year old business professional, at least that's what he registered the room as. His real name was Artemis Ogletree. He was a 17 year old boy who had fallen in love twice, and now, he had to pay the price.

As each side of the story gets told from different perspectives. Only which side is the truth? And which is a lie? But that's not all, Margo's soul could not rest until she could remember who killed her. Forcing her to haunt her five friends who brought pain upon her, mentally and physically. In several different ways, since she moved here. Only to find out the truth, about what happened to her, that gruesome night. With her memories in shambles and even questioning her friendships. Margo wanted nothing more, than to get to the bottom of her own murder mystery, so she could move on & find peace. But when her foes as friends argue to be framed for the murder and not actual suspects. Things start to get bloody, as the town of Scattervale, point fingers, pick sides, and bid on the killer. So which one of her five foes did murder her in cold blood? And will anyone ever know the truth? There's only one way to find out.... Her eyes fluttered open slowly. Her vision blurry as she tried to look around. As she tried to focus someone appeared next to her. A smirk was across his face as he injected her with a needle. She felt the pinch and soon her eyelids become heavy. Then total blackness came over her. Meanwhile the man took the injection out of her arm and walked outside the room. He pushes a button to lock her in. "Get my niece," the man said to his co worker as he grabbed a chart in front of the girl's room. He read through the chart and looked up every few minutes to look at the girl who had just went back to sleep, forcefully. "Uncle?" The man turns around and a big smile appears on his face. "Ah, Y/N there you are," he pauses placing the clipboard down. "I got a case for you." Y/N tenses not wanting to have another case. Her uncle walks towards her wrapping his arm around the young girl's shoulder and bringing her to the glass. "This is her.
