Before Wonderlands x Showtime happened to him, Rui had always felt so alone (apart from when he was with either both or one of his childhood friends, of course). He stayed quiet during class and had never spoken much to anybody in school other than the school nurse, his teachers, his friend Kusanagi Nene, his other friend Akiyama Mizuki and some of their friends.
