The year is 2027. Prices of everyday necessities, from food to gas, from toilet paper to healthcare, have more than doubled. The global population now peaking near 8.5 billion. It was now considered a virtue to be hospitalized, so long as you could pay the lifelong medication payments and stay sick. Just as it seemed society was ready to kick the bucket, something viral and deadly beat it to the punch.

As the people he knew turned into sick, plagued creatures of death and his world crumbles down around him, Jacob Mason must leave his life as a quiet, middle school student behind and forge ahead a new life to protect the people he loves. ((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. **COMPLETED** Several years after the world succumbed to a deadly strain of measles that turned those infected into crazed, mindless cannibals, Charlotte wanders the backroads alone, content with surviving day-to-day. That is until she crosses paths with Nate and his daughter, Emmi. Emmi is not and cannot be vaccinated against the disease, so the only way to protect her and give her some kind of life is to reunite her with her estranged mother in a quarantine zone on the other side of the country. Charlotte wants nothing to do with Nate or the girl who looks like her dead sister. She does not want to go through the grief of losing people again if something bad was to happen. And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. But with the clock ticking, Charlotte's new found family may just end up like her own, dead and destroyed, if Emmi is exposed to the disease that her father tried so hard to protect her from.

When you are infected with the virus, there are four stages. 1) Your fever will shoot up and everything will become intensified on a maximum level.
