It's been 3 years since the accident. It's been 3 years since his last restful night. The dreams were getting worse, and there was not a thing Mitch could do to help him.
Scott has been acting different lately. He wasn't sleeping right. His head would always fill with troubling thoughts. He would act strange if Mitch was around other guys. And he would always describe a man who wasn't there.
The man, very much alive, has been looking for revenge after being cheated out of his profession by Scott.
But he's found out that he can't hurt Scott in any way; he's used to his games.
There's only one way to get through to Scott. And that getting into the thing he loves most:
Mitch.

A New Beginning
Just a normal day in the Grassi-Hoying household...until Scott realizes he has feelings for Mitch. Will future horrific tragedies in their life strengthen their new relationship, or break it? (This develops into a mystery later in the story). *** The Point of View (POV) changes throughout the story mainly from Scott to Mitch. Some smut, mainly PG-13 but if there is more than that, it will be listed next to the chapter title with an (R). Possibly mild triggers of depression later in the story, but not much. The chapters "Confrontation" and "A Game" are forming a background for some fans who may not know as much about Pentatonix or where they go/what they do as some of my friends wanted to read but don't know much about them. Scott and Mitch are besties for life, nothing can separate them. What happens when they end up back in the closet? This story is really really sappy and fluffy so if you don't like that, then don't continue reading. There is one or two smut chapters, but it's labeled so if you don't wanna read it, you won't have to. This is my first individual scömíche story that I'm publishing. If you've ever written a short story or something similar, you always based your characters on someone you know, right? But it's not them? Well, that's what this is. Yes, it's still fanfiction, but it's just that. Fiction. It's a fictional story with fictional ideas, fictional characters and fictional scenes. "Mitch's mom left me a letter before she passed away. I just got it today, and I'd like to read it to everyone." I unfold the paper, and I clear my throat. "Dear Scott, I always knew you and Mitch would end up together. I know we never officially met, but Kirstie told me all about you. She said that you and Mitch will love each other and will be perfect together. If that's true, Scott, I want you to promise me a couple of things. I want you to promise me that you'll always make Mitch happy, whether it's in a marriage, relationship, or friendship. I want you to promise you'll never give up on him. He needs some stability in his life, Scott, and I'm hoping you'll be his rock. I want you to promise me that he can trust you in good times and in bad. I want you to promise me that he continues singing. The last promise is this: promise to love and cherish him forever. Can you promise me these things, Scott?
