She is in charge of developing new wines to keep up with the market. Maura knows wine has to be stored in a dark room in oak barrels between 55 -65 degrees with no natural light but that is about it..Maura does have an excellent palette and can tell you what is in each wine but not the percentage. The Isles love for PINOT de NOIR and Chardonnay wines is what historically the vineyard is known for the last 55 years. Maura wants a new wine to be available this year. She hired Rizzoli because of her vast knowledge and love for the wine to develop a new one before the fair occurs which houses the best of the of special reserve wine.
