But one day, another skeleton came. He was bigger, and way stronger. The smaller skeleton asked and begged him to set him free, and he did. Only to have him work for him. He gets certain feelings he doesn't understand. He chooses to ignore, but it only gets worse. With the smaller skeleton find out what it is? Will it get worse? Will he ignore it again? The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. One day Nightmare had enough of the villagers and ate the apple of negativity and leaves Dreamtale empty. When Ink comes to visit Nightmare, he sees that everyone is disappeared, and so did Nightmare. Not mention Dreams new and unusual behaviour towards Ink.
