Shayne and Courtney are roommates, sharing an apartment in university. Not in a relationship way though. No, it was definitely for financial reasons. DEFINITELY not because they have secret feelings for each other. DEFINITELY not, why would you even suggest that?
In this fanfiction, Shayne and Courtney are college roomates, and definitely do have romantic feelings for each other.
