This is the retelling of the story of Jairus' Daughter from the gospels. It is written from the perspective of the little girl that Jesus raised. I wrote this for a school assignment and decided to edit and post it for the enjoyment of others.
Sorry for the crappy description, this is my first time posting a story. If y'all have any tips I would love to hear them.

After fighting Olympians and having a war with the titans on the horizon, Percy thought he'd just about figured out this whole mythology thing. He was quite quickly proven wrong when crashing down from the sky's came a boy claiming to be the son of Santa. What exactly will the boy chance in the grand scheme of things and why does him and Thalia seem to have eyes for each other?
Adesewa the pregnant corper
After the 3 weeks orientation program of the NYSC, I was posted to a secondary school at Oyan for the one year service. I was given a room on the school compound at the Corpers' quarters. On getting to On getting to Oyan, I started looking for a Pentecostal church where I could be worshipping, and soon I was able to find one. Shortly after I started worshipping in the church, I joined the choir. Fortunately, it was at the time when the choir leader just left the church, and there was nobody to coordinate the members. Before I knew it, I was made the choir leader after being interviewed by the pastor, Pastor Williams. I was loved by everybody in the church, especially the choristers, because of my unique voice. Whenever I sing or lead a song, the whole congregation has a way of murmuring "Huuuuunnnnn!" with a sigh of satisfaction when they hear my voice. Most of the choir members were younger than me, so they call me "aunty" or "Sister Sewa". One of them was Bode, who used to play keyboard for us in the church. He was so gifted when it comes to instruments; there was no instrument he couldn't play. I always felt the presence of God whenever he was on the keyboard. I was named Adesewa after my late grandmother, who passed away shortly before I was born. My dad loved his mum so much, and hence transferred the love to me, believing that his late mother was the one who came back, more so, according to him, I was the mama's carbon copy. It was after he became saved, that he knew he was wrong. My second name was Yetunde. My dad saw me as perfect. Anything I did or said was right, even when I myself knew I was wrong. In a nutshell, I was his favorite. When my mum noticed that daddy was treating me like the apple of his eyes, she wasn't taking things easy with me at all. She spanks me at every slight mistake I made, mostly when my dad wasn't at home.Dokončeno

Letters to God (Compact Version)
I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw, unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person, prone to oversharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. EPIC: The Musical ~ The Repentance Saga
Odysseus told me I wasn't allowed to leave the ship, to not set foot on the lands of the Underworld, but I couldn't help it. It was just laying there, glistening under the light of the glowing souls, and it seemed to be calling my name. "I'll be right back," I mumbled to no one in particular, before climbing out of the ship onto the cold plateau. Every step I took closer to it, its pull became stronger. I reached for it, my fingertips nearly touching the cold metal hilt of the glowing sword, when a vaguely familiar voice called my name. -=~=- She knew that sneaking onto a ship of the king's fleet was as dangerous as a mere mortal challenging Zeus to a battle. But she longed for adventure, dreamt of a life where she could waltz with death, hoped to one day feel alive. But then the crew found her, and the moment the captain laid eyes upon her, she knew her life had changed forever.

Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental.
