Ashari Langfeld is a researcher in the infamous Black Mesa Facility, it's reputation far preceding it in the aftermath of the Resonance Cascade. The stories of other figures in the incident have already been told, but in this, we follow the time leading up to the disaster. A more mundane time for Ash, scored by the friendships and relationships made and broken, important leaps in scientific discovery, a few choice pieces of office gossip, the discovery of alien life, and her growing affection to a Sector C Research Associate. All in a day, at Black Mesa. NOTE: This is a fan created work, and is entirely based on the works of Marc Laidlaw. I do not hold any copyright over Valve Intellectual Property, including but not limited to Half Life and it's subsequent works. This work will contain Mature (18+) subject matters explicitly.
