So, with little energy she has left, she summoned a portal ring to another dimension and gave Kenji the 7 Chaos Emeralds for him to guard now and pushed him inside the ring, having it close before his eyes. That was the last time Kenji saw Longclaw and the poor kid was heartbroken beyond repair. Many years later, Kenji was living his life as he was adopted by a female older hedgehog, making her his very own mother. Kenji moved on from the past, but it's still a sensitive topic to bring up. Kenji became a pretty strong hedgehog over the years, thanks to his mother.
