PROLOGUE

Running down the alley hoping and praying they don't catch me, I start to remember a memory when I was a little girl, it was during the dark war, my mom and I lived in shed, she was holding me and she kept whispering, " Don't worry I will protect you, no one will ever hurt." My mom died that same night. I lived in that same shed by myself for 5 years. Till a small family found me and raised me, when ever something bad would happen to us I would try to protect them and say, " Don't worry I will protect you, no will ever hurt you. We all looked after each other. Some nights we wouldn't have food or water, some night we didn't have places to sleep, and sometimes we would be on the run, but I always said the thing. This time though I had no one to protect me so all I could do was run.
