The Mermaid Pirate

Mermaids are the most marvelous and illusive beings out there. For years tails were spun on whether they existed or not, but Ceto proves those rumors true. "It couldn't possibly be" many would say. A mermaid working with pirates was just against the natural order of the world. What they don't know is Ceto was tricked onto a ship and held captive. She now roams the sea longing for the day when she can return to the ocean. A swarthy young soldier they kidnap could be just the person to help her be free if he can learn to trust someone who hasn't said a word in four years. Will Ceto ever be reunited with her sisters or will her plan for freedom run aground?
