After Steve, Nancy, Robin, and Eddie escape from the upside down, they seek refuge from the police in a small motel outside Hawkins. Steve deals with conflicting feelings about Eddie on a journey of finding out who he is, and Eddie might fall for him in return. Can the two boys navigate their feelings through the insanity of Hawkins? Or will their feelings for each other never come to the surface?
(Story takes place directly after the events of Season 4, Volume 1. It probably will not go into what happens for volume 2, but there will possibly be references to it and spoilers for season 4 in general.)
