Mithali Raj has announced his decision to retire from all forms of international cricket. Mithali, 39, is the leading scorer in the women's ODI, finishing with 7,805 runs in coordination.
In the 89 T20 Internationals, Mithali raj scored 2364 runs while collecting 699 runs in 12 Test matches. Under Mithali Raj, India reached the final of the Women's World Cup in ODI in 2017.
Mithali Raj made her debut in June 1999 and retired as one of the most successful female cricketers in India. She played his last match for India in the World Cup against South Africa. India failed to get past the group stage at the World Cup, but Mithali scored 68 out of 84 in what turned out to be the last game for her country. In an emotional note posted on Twitter, Ideal Mithali raj said she did his best for the country.
She was the reason millions of Indian children fell in love with women's cricket. She has been a pillar of the Indian women's team for over two decades and her retirement has left millions of fans grieving.
As is usual in today's world, Mitahli announced her retirement on the microblogging site. Taking to Twitter, the former India captain thanked her fans for their love and admiration over the years.
