They say that Gatsby believes in the orgastic future that recedes before us, year by year. But what if, a certain power higher above decided to play a joke and brings Gatsby a future to the pass and messes things up? What do you think Gatsby option will be? Will it still be his lovely Daisy Buchanan or will it be....someone else???
This is the corny story of how a common 21st century girl in the future cornily went back in time...back to the 1920s to meet a corny American great fictional hero by the name of Jay Gatsby.

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. How did I not know it before? *** Carter Bennett has managed to survive her first 3 years of high school. Everything has been amazing... for the most part. She had her life completely planned out. Who in their right mind would ask a teenager to write a 4000 word essay on the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald anyway? To me, English class was simply the fine art of over analyzing very old pieces of literature. It was usually pretty easy for me to string together some intricate sounding sentences about these old novels. My English teacher loved me for it, but for this particular essay, I was utterly incapable of replicating the excellence of my previous work. All I knew was that Nick Carraway was definitely gay for Gatsby. _________ When two high school boys find themselves being forced into partnership for a class project, things get interesting. With Callaway's snarky remarks and hidden secrets, and Chance's accidental girlfriend, their path to completing high school is anything but straight. _________ Discaimer: This is boyxboy so if this makes anyone uncomfortable, this is me warning you. With the references to the novel in my story, I am in no way trying to mock or make fun of the novel, because it is one of my favourite books. Blaze was completely content with being oblivious of their double life but of course she just had to get thrown in it. All she wanted to do was get some fried chicken from Mr. Brenalds; instead she ends up seeing Mayne slit someone's neck while Jay snapped another's. If that doesn't make you lose your appetite... ~ "Jay, if you touch my fucking boob I will cut your hand off." I threatened, staring at the body part with a very life-threatening glare. Jay thought over it for a minute, his eyes moving from his hand to my breasts multiple times. His hand then moved forward and grabbed my boob.
