Luckily, Professor Charles Xavier finds her and saves her from the streets before something unthinkable can happen to her. Unfortunately it took him a year to find her and she's withdrawn from the world, and isn't used to socializing with humans anymore. And then there's Kurt, code name Nightcrawler. He's a mutant too, and has been treated differently his whole life because of the way he looks. The best day of his life was coming to the institute and getting the hologram that hides the way he really looks so he can finally look like everyone else. But when the newest student comes to the school, he finds himself judging her by looks too. Until she pushes him into showing her his true appearance and marks his life as the first person to ever tell him that he looks better without the hologram.
