Alexandra "Alex" Henderson life has never been easy her parents were always fighting. Her dad was always drunk when he came home and her mom was always so stressed out with finances and work. Since her father is always drunk and her mom has to work long shifts at the dinner (where she works) every night, Alex has had to grow up very fast so she can take care of her two siblings Mackenzie and Joshua.
When she was 16 years old her mother left her father because he couldn't shake his drinking addiction no matter how much he tried. About 6 months later he finally realized he had a problem so he gave up his children to a local adoption center. The problem with that was Alex was almost 17 which was the age you must be adopted by or they kick you out and she wouldn't ever see her family again. Mackenzie and Joshua would have to grow up without any family. Will they get adopted before its too late? Will they be separated? Read to find out more about Alex's life and her story.
