Desperate times calls for desperate measures. With Earth turning into an intergalactic battle ground for the gods/aliens, S.H.I.E.L.D is forced to recruit the baddest and most dangerous group of people and one of those is the god of mischief himself, Loki.

Maya Petrova does not exist, well, not until she and her special abilities were exposed during the invasion in Manhattan. Three years since then, she had been in a run from the very group of people she helped; SHIELD. 
Finally caught by the A.I team themselves, Maya decides to give a 'helping hand'--she had to work side by side with Loki, and the secrets she'd rather keep hidden is exposed one after the other.

She hated him with everything she had. He had betrayed her, and in doing so, she was stripped of her title, and banished to another realm. She had spent years, trying to find a way back, to exact her revenge, and luck came in, seeing the news about Lokis attack on the city. But SHE is there now and Loki has to deal with the emotional rollercoaster within himself. He only blamed himself for her ability to shadow the truth with lies that everyone falls for. He was quite impressed as well. Is he even ready for the love that comes with a Midgardian? But how could he get through this without her? After all, she was the only reason he became King in the first place. But isn't life much simpler when your blaming failures on a Midgardian? What about her? She possessed powers. Powers that no typical Earth human had. How could she come across such powers? Well, a small event with the Avengers led Loki to run right to her small home town. What was so significant about that? Well MAYBE the God of Mischief had something to do with those powers of hers, and THAT can certainly cause some issues for them.
