Rosalie suffers from long lasting trauma effects since her world turned upside and struggles to navigate her feelings and thoughts. She lives off temporary dopamine rushes and impulsive behaviors in order to feel somewhat satisfied with her life and herself, despite the few friends she has and countless psychology meetings, Rosalie is stuck in a fight-flight-fawn response that leaves the world around her a dangerous place to be in.

Accidental encounters with Zale Karim, the charismatic and humoristic man two years younger than her, forces her to confront experiences and feelings she has spent years of her life trying to avoid.

He offers her a chance to experience true happiness, and she doesn't say no. They embark on a journey with the challenge of finding Rosalie a , which later transforms into a journey of love, mutual respect and deep understanding of each other.
