In 14th century Europe, the border lands are filled with war between the growing Oghuz tribes and the Byzantine tekfurs that want nothing more than to drive the Turks out and Kolia, a princess who enjoyed the peace she had before the war with Turks started, just wants the war to end. As all the tekfurs start to come together to fight the tribes, Kolia's father, Argus of karangalan decides he doesn't want war and decides to protect his lands and family by marrying one of his daughters to Ozgur, one of the sons of the most powerful bey on the border. His wife Melena is determined to have the eldest of her two daughters married to him instead of Kolia, because of the grudge she holds against the daughter of her husband's second wife ( A daughter of the Russian tsar), and so she can have her hands in tribal affairs. This is perfectly fine with Kolia, who wants nothing to do with Turks. Least of all Ozgur, who she sees as arrogant and barbaric. So what will happen when Ozgur asks for her instead of her sister Mira despite all of Melena's plots and plans? *****DISCLAIMER***** This is the first story I have EVER written so don't come for me.😅

A marriage neither wanted. A hatred neither understands. Two strangers tied by a past that stains everything between them. He never wanted a wife. Especially not her. Cold, distant, and poisoned by assumptions, Amaan enters the forced marriage with one intention- to keep his distance and keep his resentment alive. Asmaira enters with something far heavier- guilt. Not to protect him. Not to save him. But because she knows the truth of what happened... and she cannot bear to confess it. They have never met. But the moment they do, the air turns sharp- full of tension, unspoken accusations, and the kind of hate that feels too much like longing. He despises her for a sin she never committed. She punishes herself for a sin she never confessed. And marriage turns into a battleground where silence is a weapon... and closeness is a threat. In this house, love is impossible. Trust is deadly. But hatred? Hatred is the only thing keeping them alive.
